Change for Haiti

Just like Carrie Underwood's new song called Change says "Whatcha gonna do with the 36 cents sticky with coke on your floor board" well me and some of my friends put together this fundraiser called Change for Haiti and I truely realized that "The smallest thing can make all the difference" heres the story of how buckets of change helped hundreds of people. A teacher at my high school adopted a little boy from Haiti about 5 years ago and when they heard about the earth quake that hit Haiti and the orphanage where he was actually from was effected he wanted to help so we got together and started Change for Haiti and we filled up over 24 3 gallon buckets full of change and cash so we are in the process of getting it counted so we can give it to the orphanage and try to help the best we can even though we live thousands of miles away. We also collected over 373 pairs of jeans from baby to men all different sizes and we donated them to Aeropstale and they actually sent all of them to Haiti for free so that the people there can have some clothes.

What is Project Children Smile?

Project Children Smile is a foundation that I started to help people. I've raised over $30,000 for St. Lukes Children Cancer Unit in Boise called Mistys and recently I just got done with Change for Haiti and a Jean Drive for Haiti with Aeropostal. Project Children Smile is more than just a goal or a dream to me. I hope one day that i can help millions of people everywhere. I plan to get my social work degree from BYU-I after I graduate high school. When i grow up I want to change people's life and honestly make the world a better place. I want to help the abused kids find a home and see what its like to have a loving long lasting family. It breaks my heart to hear about kids being abused and how someone could actually be afriad to go home. I also want to raise money for children with cancer every child should get the chance of a long happy life and my other goal is to help the homeless it doesnt matter why they are homeless they need a helping hand and i want to be there to help them. i care about people and i want to make it a better place♥ I'm only 16 years old right now but eventually my goal is to raise money for the children and people who have suffered from abuse and help them restart their lives, raise money for children with cancer, life threatning or any need children who need help, and to try to help out the homeless. If you know know of anyone who need help with raising money for treatments, or even if you want to help or be a part of Project Children Smile just leave a comment and i'll be happy to help. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
