Grant Davis was born June 12, 2002. He arrived three months early and weighed just 2 pounds, 4 ounces. After his birth, he spent three months in the hospital.Grant’s health problems—premature birth, gastric reflux disease, periventricular leukomalacia, chronic lung disease, and cerebral palsy. As a result of his cerebral palsy, which has affected both legs and one arm, Grant cannot stand nor walk. Grant is an energetic seven-year-old boy and would love to have the ability to do what he sees his sisters and other children doing; he just wants to be a "normal" kid. I had the chance to get to help raise money for his new wheelchair so we could help his dream to be a "normal" kid come true and it was an awesome experience! Grant loves football so i called some of my friends from my high school team to come and meet Grant and you could just see how heppy Grant was. Grant taught me so many things. He is truely an inspiration to me and such a strong willed and sweet little boy and i was very blessed to get to know him, he is an amazing little boy and a true hero in my eyes!
